Should you want information about registering for a class not currently scheduled, please email helpdesk@northernlightsacademy.ca. ART: LET'S DRAW!

Let’s Draw! Is an opportunity for children aged 4-6 to draw whatever comes to their minds while sharing with their peers.

Online ballet class for young learners

DANCE: Beginner Ballet *

This class is designed as a simple ballet class to get learners connected to their body throughout the week. We will learn a ballet barre as well as simple centre exercises. The goal of this class is to become familiar with ballet, and work towards stronger bodies!

A beginner’s guide to a core element of theatre, improvisation! In this course your child will learn the nuances of listening, understanding, and responding through improvisation. They will use their imaginations and creative thinking skills to find a beginning, middle, and end to the story with their peers. Combining play and theatre, we are able to teach active listening skills and following objectives.

Intro to Theatre is a fun in-depth experience where learners will embrace their inner performer! We will go over stage presence, basic theatre concepts including but not limited to: scene design, blocking, action and reaction, necessity of character, costuming, and so much more! If your learner has always wanted to see what it was like to shine in the spotlight, this class provides a solid foundation in theatre basics.
